National Science Agenda
The National Science Agenda (NWA) is a research programme set up by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO). As part of this programme, NWO will issue calls for interdisciplinary consortia to submit research proposals that address one or more of the 25 NWA routes.
The first call, NWA Consortia Route Research (NWA-ORC), is currently under way. Aside from the various NWA routes, this call offers funding opportunities for research proposals submitted by consortia in the area of animal-free innovation.
A number of participants in the Transition Programme for Innovation without the use of animals (TPI) are keen to work together on exploring the possibilities of a successful application for research funding. To that end, they will investigate which partners (research and otherwise) to approach in order to set up a successful consortium.
The following TPI participants are currently involved in this network:
- Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality
- Top Sector Life Sciences & Health
- Association of Dutch Health Foundations (SGF)
